You Dont Know

I was lingering around as usual and suddenly I came across "You Dont Know" ... Y'all homies mus' be wondering w'ats this all about. Its a song people... by Eminem, 50 Cent, Cashis, Lloyd Banks. Its called "You Dont Know". Its from em's new production album called ... yes, once again some self obsessed gangsta got togetha and came up wit some shyte name ... Eminem Presents The Re-Up (2007).

Now I heard (Wikied) that Emm - The Gangsta Rap Gawd (or Dawg ... wotever!) has sketched this cover himself over a period of 3 months. Now people might think that 3 months for a sketch is a bit too much. But the sentiment is important. Clap Clap Emm. Now enough of the cover, lets get down to discussing The Song.

All of us who listen to gangsta rap have always wondered, all our lives about what happened to 50 cent after In Da Club ... he hasnt produced a better or even an equivalent song to that. Your wait is over! Here it is ... 50 has given a jem. The moment he goes "yeah ... who run it ...?" every ounce of blood inside a gangsta rap lover would face super turbulence. Its a fact. Its inevitable. All the other 22 songs on the album (yes there are 23 songs) sound like a build-up session to this awesome song. The chorus is amazing. Here it is ...

Who run it? You know, you actin' like you don't know
I tear the club up fo' sho
This flow is gon' bring more dough [fifty]
And you know but actin' like you don't know [g-unit!]
Who run it? You know, you actin' like you don't know
I tear the club up fo' sho
This flow is gon' bring more dough [yeah!]
And you know but actin' like you don't know [shady!]

Awe-fucking-some. Rivetting. Now the style of the song is very similar to In-Da-Club. But it has an undercurrent of beef (rivalry), gansgta (bad ass boys), nines (guns), party (party), muzic (song writing) and fellowship (family). The best part is that the song is miles away from the common themes of Ho'es (prostitutes), Pimping (pimping) and the Eastcoast/Westcoast rivalry. The common sexual undercurrent in all 50cent numbers is missing here. Its sounds as if a lot of Kick-Ass Gangsters are out for a party after a lot of brawl. They are very clear about their loyalty to the family. From the sound of it it sounds as if they are the smartest, most loaded and the most fearless gangsta bunch of em' all. Hats off to Emm. I know it is him behind this song. I wont give out the lyrics as it would be a Spoiler of sorts, but trust me, its a kick ass beef-gangsta-club song. It will get a lot of feet moving in the hip-hop based clubs. Trust me, its one kickass song. The ending is awesome too ... Here it is by Tony Yayo.

You know what this is..

Clap Clap Clap Eminem ! Keep up the good work man. It broke my heart to hear that Curtain Call was your last solo album. I know you're gonna come up with more... [Shady!]
